Brendon Rodney is a three-time Olympian, global medalist, and one of the fastest sprinters in Canadian history. Born in Etobicoke, Ontario, his journey in track and field began at the grassroots level fuelled by passion, perseverance, and an unyielding drive for excellence.
He made his mark as a standout athlete at Long Island University's Brooklyn campus, where he became a multi-time NCAA All-American. His collegiate success paved the way for a place on the Canadian National Team, which he has proudly represented for over a decade. As a key member of Canada's 4x100m relay team, Brendon earned Olympic bronze and Pan American Games silver before capturing Olympic gold in 2024, cementing his legacy on the international stage.
Known for his explosive speed, grounded humility, and unwavering discipline, Brendon's influence extends far beyond athletics. His passion for impact led him to establish the Track to Impact Foundation - an initiative that transforms his personal journey into a powerful platform to uplift and empower youth. Through school visits, mentorship, scholarship programs, and community initiatives, the foundation advocates for Black excellence and helps young people believe in what's possible.
